Seven-time Wimbledon Champion Roger Federer has featured in a new advertisement where he chooses to play violin on court instead of playing with his tennis racquet, playing the opening of the Berg Concerto.

According to Tennis.com, the video is a promotion for Credit Suisse and the Lucerne music festival.

Federer first takes out two of his racquets only to keep them aside and play a violin while sitting on a chair.

The video has been received appreciation from tennis fans across the world.

Federer will play Grega Zemlja in the first round of the US Open and could face Spanish ace Rafael Nadal in the quarterfinals, the report said.
