Basketball player Matt Barnes just got lucky as he will not be charged for allegedly attacking New York Knicks coach Derek Fisher.

According to the police, they did respond to an incident and a report was filed regarding the altercation. However, officers said that the case was reviewed and there was no basis for criminal charges, TMZ reports.

Earlier, a witness had revealed that Barnes hit Fisher in the face and the fight started.

Sources have claimed that Fisher did not want to press charges against the Memphis Grizzlies player.
