Australian batsman Glenn Maxwell's scintillating 89 off 45 balls helped Kings XI Punjab defeat Rajasthan Royals in their Indian Premier League clash by seven wickets.
The Royals scored 5-191 as they went on to bat first with their captain Shane Watson's knock of 50 off 29 balls to lead the team by example.
According to News.com.au, Kings XI, captained by Australian Twenty20 captain George Bailey, chased down the Royals score with Cheteshwar Pujara helping his team to a good start to their run chase and finishing on 40 not out.
Maxwell is reportedly the competition's leading run-scorer currently, with 184 runs at an average of 92.
The Kings XI squad has now reportedly won their first two matches of the tournament with Royal Challengers Bangalore the only other team to do so.
Kings XI's next encounter will be with Sunrisers Hyderabad on Wednesday, the report added.
