Meryl Streep lost 'King Kong' role over 'being too ugly'

Meryl Streep has revealed that she lost 'King Kong' role because of her looks.

The '101 Dalmatians' star said during her appearance on 'The Graham Norton Show' that the film's producer Dino De Laurentiis had asked his son in Italian why he brought him "this ugly thing", News.com.au reported.

Streep added that she told him that she's sorry for not being beautiful enough to be in 'King Kong'.
