The youngest son of the ill-fates Malaysia Airline passenger jet's co-pilot has reportedly spoken up on behalf of his family for the first time to defend his father.
Ahmad Seth, 26, said that he has read media reports and speculations about his father, Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah's role in the mysterious disappearance of the plane after it took off from Kuala Lumpur on March 8 and went off radar shortly.
It was widely speculated that Shah was involved in the plane's disappearance, especially after authorities recovered a flight simulator from his home.
However, his son dismissed the rumours and said that he knows his father better, news.com.au reports.
He further said that he might not be as close as his father travels so much, but he understands him.
The report added that Seth is a language student and the youngest of Shah's three children.
