Monkeys kill elderly man, kin demands FIR

A 70-year-old man has allegedly been stoned to death by more than 50 monkeys in Uttar Pradesh's Baghpat district.

Krishnapal Singh, the brother of the deceased, Brhampal told the media, "50 to 60 monkeys attacked my brother when he was collecting wood for havan outside our house... He succumbed to his injuries at the hospital."

The family of the deceased submitted a written complaint regarding the incident at Bhagpat police station while demanding an FIR against the monkeys.

Brhampal's body has been sent for postmortem.
