Most Americans want Oprah to be face of charities

A poll has revealed that Americans would want Oprah Winfrey to front their favourite causes.

A poll, which was conducted by '60 Minutes' and Vanity Fair magazine, has revealed that when asked "who would you most want to support your cause," 28 percent of the respondents picked the 59-year-old talk-show host, Us magazine reported.

Winfrey was favoured out of 6 notable philanthropists, which included Bill Gates and his wife Melinda Gates, with 25 percent votes, Warren Buffett, 13 percent, Angelina Jolie had 9 percent votes.

Prince William had 7 percent, whereas Mark Zuckerberg could garner only 2 percent of the votes.
