David Moyes had a bad start to his coaching career at Manchester United, when the Premier League Champions went down in a surprise 1-0 loss to Thailand's Singha All-Star XI in Bangkok on Saturday.
According to sport 24, although United were missing Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney, Nani and captain Nemanja Vidic among others, they cannot avoid facing the fact that they allowed the All-Stars repeated chances and failed to recover after falling behind early in the second half.
When asked if it was a bad omen, new manager Moyes hoped it was not and was disappointed with the result, the report said.
However, Moyes said that if he was going to lose any games, he was happy to lose these pre-season ones.
