President Pranab Mukherjee will undertake a two-day visit to Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra from December 27 to 28.
In Uttar Pradesh, Mukherjee will inaugurate the 37th Indian Social Science Congress-2013 at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh on December 27.
In Maharashtra, on December 27, he will inaugurate the 66th annual session of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE), CHEMCON 2013 at Institute of Chemical Technology at Mumbai.
He will also inaugurate the 10th World Zoroastrian Congress at National Sports Club of India, Worli, Mumbai on the same day.
On December 28, Mukherjee will unveil the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Thane.
On the same day, he will inaugurate the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the Tribal Research and Training Institute at Pune and also unveil the Statue of Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj at All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society, Pune.
The President will return to Rashtrapati Nilayam, Secunderabad on December 28.
