Andy Murray has said that there is a fifty/fifty chance that he would have a new coach before he starts the defence of his Wimbledon title later this month after falling out in the semifinals in straight sets to Rafael Nadal.

Murray said that he doubts the fact that he is currently without a coach contributed towards his defeat to the eight-time French Open winner Nadal.

According to Sport24, Murray said that he has not spoken to anyone since the French Open began in Paris, but he would see over the next few days what happens regarding him appointing a new coach.

The Wimbledon champion insisted that he does not know who his coach would be, adding that he would hope to have someone in place before he begins his British title defence saying that there might be a 50-50 chance of that happening.

Murray has been without a coach since Ivan Lendl, who guided the Briton to the US Open and Olympic title in 2012 and the Wimbledon crown last year, walked away from the position in March, the report added.
