The meeting between Nepal's three major parties and United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) has ended inconclusively as the latter demanded concrete agenda on various issues for talks.
According to The Himalayan Times, the UDFM team proposed to amend various provisions, including those related to citizenship, demarcation of provinces, fixation of electoral constituencies based on population density and inclusive and proportional representation, in the Constitution.
Both the sides parted ways with an agreement to hold second round of talks on Wednesday.
The three party team members were Nepali Congress leader and Minister Mahesh Acharya, UCPN-Maoist leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha and CPN-UML leader Agni Kharel.
The meeting was held at Singhadarbar.
