Nine persons get killed in road accident in Karnataka
Nine persons including three children and three women were killed as a speeding truck collided with a mini bus near Mysore in Karnataka on Wednesday.
The accident took place near Kamlapur village, about 50 kilometres from Mysore, said police.
The deceased were returning to Mangalore from southern Tamil Nadu state after a vacation.
The injured have been admitted to the hospital.
Reportedly, the truck driver died on the spot, while the bus driver has been arrested.
