Northwest Delhi District Magistrate (DM) Sanjay Goel on Thursday was allegedly attacked by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Udit Raj's personal secretary Parminder and his supporters.
An FIR has been filed against Parminder for thrashing the district magistrate.
"BJP MP Udit Raj's personal secretary and his supporters barged into my office and threatened to beat me up. They also held me hostage for some time," Goel told ANI.
"An FIR has been filed against Parminder for attacking me. I also have CCTV footage of the incident," he added.
