One person killed in attack on passenger coach in Hangu, school blown up in Mohmand

Unidentified gunmen opened fire on a passenger coach in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province's Hangu District, killing one person on Saturday.

The incident took place near the Doaba area of Hangu.

Police has registered a case and is investigating the motive behind the attack.

According to the Dawn, suspected militants also blew up an under construction Frontier Corps (FC) picket in the agency's Gaki Pass area in the Bajaur tribal region.

There was, however, no loss of life in the attack.

In the Mohmand Tribal Agency, a school for girls was blown up on Saturday.

The school was situated in the Dando Bridge area of Mohmand.

No loss of life was reported.
