Badminton player P.V. Sindhu received the Arjuna Award for 2013 here on Tuesday.
Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Jitendra Singh presented a statuette, citation and a cash prize of Rs. five lakh to Sindhu during the governing body meeting of Sports Authority of India.
Sindhu was not present at the award ceremony on 31st August, 2013, at the Rashtrapati Bhawan due to her professional engagements.
