Pakistani authorities have executed three rebels who were convicted of hijacking a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane in 1992.
According to The Nation, the executions were carried out on the 17th anniversary of the tests on Thursday.
One of the men, Shabir Rind, was hanged in Karachi and two others, Shahsawar Baloch and Sabir Baloch, were hanged in Hyderabad prison, said officials.
They were sentenced to death for hijacking the PIA aircraft with 30 passengers on board on 24th May, 1998, four days before the country's first nuclear test.
