Harsh Vardhan speaks on polio eradication in New York hospital

Union Minister for Science, Technology and Earth Sciences Dr. Harsh Vardhan on Thursday addressed a group of physicians, scientists and medical students at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.

The title of talk was 'Tale of two drops', which focused on making changes in healthcare and impacting a lasting change in population such as eradication of polio in India.

The 45-minute talk was followed by a small celebration to honour Dr Harsh Vardhan's achievements in field of public health.

The event was attended by senior faculty, professors and students of the hospital.
