Jammu and Kashmir activist Rashneek Kher on Monday said Pakistan Defence Minister Khwaja Mohammad Asif's anti-India statement defines Islamabad's hatred towards India.
"On the page of India, the identity of Pakistan is defined by anti-Indianism. The very fact that they hate India defines Pakistan's identity," Kher told ANI.
"It only reflects the deep mindset of Pakistani state, and when I say state, I mean the civilian administration as well. We have this huge misnomer in India, even among strategic circles that Pakistan's civilian government wants peace, but the army and the ISI doesn't want that. That's not correct," he added.
" Whether it is the civilian government or the army, both have a profound belief, and this is their understanding of the relationship between India and Pakistan, that no matter what, even if we end up giving them Kashmir, still they will hate us as a country, because this nation (Pakistan) has been created on hate towards India," Kher said.
Asif, on Sunday, warned India that it will suffer 'heavy losses' which it would 'remember for decades' if it tried to 'impose' a war on Pakistan.
"Pakistan's armed forces will defend every inch of their motherland at every cost," he added.
