Pakistan's Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will address his countrymen today to take them into confidence over the findings of the Judicial Commission, which was constituted to probe electoral rigging allegations during the 2013 polls, a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office said.
After the Prime Minister House received the inquiry commission's report, the premier summoned his legal team for a briefing on the report, reported the Dawn.
It will be uploaded to the Ministry of Law's website subsequently.
After TV channels aired the news of the report being submitted to the government through the Ministry of Law and Justice, several PML-N leaders claimed that the commission had rejected all allegations of systematic and organised rigging in the polls made by Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI).
The three-judge body, headed by Chief Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk, completed the hearing on July 3 after 39 sittings.
The decision to probe electoral rigging allegations was taken after PTI held a 126-day sit-in in Islamabad last year, demanding a fair inquiry into the 2013 polls.
