The Pakistani forces deployed along the border on Saturday refused to accept sweets from the BSF personnel on the auspicious occasion of Eid along the Wagah border in Punjab.

According to reports, Pakistan refused to fix a time for the exchange of sweets between the two sides.

The refusal reportedly comes due to the prevailing tensions after the firing incidents along the Line of Control (LoC) and International Border.

The exchange of sweets between the border troops of the two countries is an old tradition.
