Over the years, Pearl Academy has maintained its legacy in the prominent domains of design, fashion, business and media education.
Since its inception in 1993, Pearl Academy has evolved into a globally renowned institution and ensures that it prepares its students to be job ready for their respective industries.
This Open House saw heavy participation from students pursuing their bachelor's degree in Mass Media and Business Management, interested in pursuing the PG courses offered by Pearl Academy. The panel discussion was followed by a series of media and business focused workshops. The event gave the students a chance to interact with the industry experts and get a better understanding of their respective fields.
More than 400 students from colleges like Bhavan's College, Andheri, LS Raheja College, Thakur College, National College, MMK College and many more attended the mega open house.
The list of experts who shared their expertise in the panel discussion included prominent names like Dr. Bhaskar Das, President, Dainik Bhaskar and Ex-President Times of India, singer and actor Monica Murthy, luxury brand expert Kaleem Khan, retail industry expert Neeraj Paul and creative head of new program development, Sony Entertainment TV, Arjya Patnaik.
The institute will conduct a merit-based scholarship test on February 24, 2018 for its new undergraduate and postgraduate courses in media and communication. The test will be conducted at Pearl Academy's campuses in Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Kolkata and Patna.
The last date for submission of applications is February 20, 2018. Selected students will be eligible for 50 percent merit scholarship on the tuition fees. The 2-year PG level courses are open to graduates from any stream.
"I am honoured to be a part of Pearl Academy as the Head of School of Media. I believe it is our key responsibility to enhance the skill-sets of our students and help them achieve increased efficiency and new creativity levels in their respective fields," said Prof Ujjwal K. Chowdhury, Head of School of Media.
