Paralympian Oscar Pistorius' brother, Carl Pistorius has been hurt badly in a car crash, a report has said.
According to News.com.au, the crash occurred after a car swerved in front of his car and collided head-on with his vehicle. Pistorius has now been put in the intensive care unit for further medical treatment.
Although doctors have declared that he is out of danger yet he has suffered several fractures to his right forearm, leg and left foot as well as a hip injury and lacerations to his liver and heart, the report said.
In a statement, his uncle, Arnold Pistorius confirmed the incident and said that he has been transferred to a hospital in Pretoria.
Pistorius was returning from a business trip in Polokwane. He has always been by the side of his brother during court trials.
