Paralympic champion Oscar Pistorius is reportedly set to face two additional charges of recklessly discharging a firearm in public, along with his murder charges, when he appears in court on August 19.

According to News24, Pistorius is facing murder charges for shooting and killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp at his home in Pretoria on the early hours of Valentine's Day this year.

The report further said that in the first incident, which took place at a restaurant in Johannesburg in January, Pistorius had accidentally fired a gunshot, which almost hit a friend, who was in the restaurant along with him.

In the second incident, the report said that the Blade Runner had allegedly discharged a gun through a car's sunroof while driving with his friends, just some time after he was stopped by police officers in Gauteng, South Africa.
