Siddhanth Kapoor, who will be playing the role of Dawood Ibrahim in his upcoming flick, 'Haseena Parkar', shared that playing a character like Dawood is not very easy as you have to hold on your psyche as him, which was a bit difficult.
While speaking exclusively to ANI, Siddhanth shared about his character of Dawood Ibrahim in the film and his experiences during the process.
He said, "My director was doing all the research of the characters in the film and I was living it with him and so it was a great advantage. I did lot of homework on the internet and read about the character. So, by the time I went to shoot, it was quite easy for me because I was quite prepped for the role. But, of course playing a character like that is not very easy."
Siddhanth, son of actor Shakti Kapoor, will be seen alongside his sister Shraddha Kapoor in 'Haseena Parkar'.
The film will show the journey of Haseena Parkar taking charge of brother Dawood Ibrahim's business in Mumbai.
The film further shows Haseena's journey from a 17-year-old teenager to a 43-year-old and for which Shraddha underwent drastically different looks by using prosthetics, body suits and heavy make-up.
The film will see Shraddha as underworld legend Haseena Parkar and brother Siddhant Kapoor playing the role of Dawood Ibrahim. It's for the first time that we will see Shraddha playing a grey character on screen.
Haseena Parkar is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and presented by Swiss Entertainment. It is all set to hit the theatres on September 22.
