Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday extended his condolences to the families of those who had lost their lives in an unfortunate accident in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh
"PM has expressed grief on the unfortunate accident in Anantapur, AP. He extends condolences to the families of those who lost their lives," said PMO's twitter.
"PM also wished a speedy recovery to those injured in the accident in Anantapur," it added.
Earlier in the day, four passengers died and 10 others got injured after a state transportation bus fell into a gorge in Andhra Pradesh's Anantapur district.
The incident took place around four kilometres from Penukonda.
