Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday extended his wishes to former Tamil Nadu chief minister Jayalalithaa on her birthday.
Prime Minister Modi took to Twitter to extend his wishes to the AIADMK chief, who turns 67 today.
"Birthday greetings to Jayalalithaa ji. May she be blessed with a long life, filled with good health," he said.
Jayalalithaa's supporters and well-wishers had gathered outside her residence earlier today but reports say that unlike previous years, celebrations in Tamil Nadu will mostly remain subdued today.
