PM Modi offers all infrastructures to US defence firms

Prime Minister Narendra Modi here today invited defence equipment producers to set up their unit in India in line with his 'Make in India' policy.

Ministry of External Affairs' spokesperson Vikas Swarup said "during a meeting with defence companies, including Lockheed Martin, the Prime Minister says India offers a big market to them and there are all facilities in India, including talented workforce, for manufacturing."

Besides, PM Modi offered them to provide all the required infrastructure if they start their manufacturing in India, he said, adding that it will be win-win situation for both.
