In his address to the nation for the 67th Independence Day, President Pranab Mukherjee made a special mention of the sportspersons who participated in the recently concluded Commonwealth Games held in Glasgow.
President Mukherjee, extending warm greeting to Indians around the world, said, "I congratulate all our sportspersons, who have participated and won laurels in the recently-concluded Commonwealth Games held at Glasgow."
He also conveyed special greetings to all members of the armed forces, paramilitary forces and internal security forces.
