President Pranab Mukherjee on Sunday congratulated World No 1 shuttler Saina Nehwal on winning the women's singles in India Open Super Series Badminton tournament.
"Hearty congratulation Saina Nehwal on winning the women's singles India Open Super Series," the President tweeted.
Earlier in the day, Nehwal lifted the singles crown of the India Open Super Series Badminton tournament.
Nehwal defeated former world champion Thailand's Ratchanok Intanon 21-16, 21-14 in the final at the Siri Fort Indoor Complex.
In the Men's final, second ranked Srikanth is slated to meet sixth-ranked Viktor Axelsen of Denmark.
