Prez condoles loss of lives due to ammonia leak in Punjab
President Mukherjee took to twitter to offer his condolences.
"Condolences to families of deceased and prayers for speedy recovery of hospitalized due to gas leak tragedy in Punjab," the President of India's office tweeted.
At least five people were killed and 100 others forced to seek treatment due to the deadly gas leak.
The leak reportedly occurred when the tanker got stuck under a flyover on the Doraha Bypass Road.
