President Pranab Mukherjee has said that he is 'delighted' over the Singapore government's decision to install a statue of 'Netaji' Subhash Chandra Bose at the India Heritage Centre situated in the island nation.
The President expressed his delight during a banquet hosted on Monday in honour of Singapore President Dr. Tony Tan Keng Yam and his wife, Mary Tan, at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
President Tan, who arrived in New Delhi on Sunday, is on a four-day official visit to India. During his trip, he has met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is scheduled to meet External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
