The two PricewaterhouseCoopers accountants, who were found responsible for the Oscar 'Best Movie' s.n.a.f.u, have been officially declared unfit for any future duty of the prestigious event.

According to a report by CNN, a source with knowledge of the matter, informed that Martha Ruiz and Brian Cullinan will remain partners at PwC, but will no longer be on the firm's team working for the Academy.

PwC, one of the world's leading accounting firms, has been managing the Academy and its ballots for 83 years.

On Monday, PwC took responsibility for the flub, citing "human error" and "breaches of established protocols."
