Real Madrid boss Rafael Benitez has dismissed speculation surrounding Sergio Ramos' potential move to Manchester United, insisting that the defender is an 'integral' member and will not leave the Spanish club this summer.
Although United made a staggering 28million pound deal for the 29-year-old Spaniard, Real rejected the offer last week.
Describing Ramos as an 'integral part of their team', Benitez said that the defender is a winner and that is what they need.
Benitez, who had acted as the former Liverpool and Chelsea boss, further said that the president has already commented that Ramos is staying with the club, the BBC reported.
Ramos has made 445 appearances for the club since his debut for Real in 2005, with scoring memorable injury-time equalizer in their Champions League final win over Atletico Madrid in 2014.
Earlier this year, Real had rejected an extension to Ramos' contract that expires in 2017.
