Rihanna's hit single 'Diamonds' writer Sia Furler has claimed that she penned the song within fourteen minutes.
The Australian songwriter told The New York Times that the Barbadian singer stuck firmly to the original demo vocals of the song and used Furler's vocals as a guide even recreating the same inflections.
The 36-year-old songwriter added that she thought it was her own vocals when singer's recorded version of the song was played back to her.
Furler asserted that she literally punched the producer Benny Blanco in the arm as she thought he was playing a prank on her.
Furler added that the 26-year-old singer could have done it her own way, but the singer really genuinely liked the way it was.
