Real Madrid star striker Cristiano Ronaldo is likely to miss next week's Champions League semifinal second leg against Manchester City after MRI scans revealed that he has suffered a muscle tear.
The Portuguese international was forced to sit on the bench in the goalless first leg clash against City at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday.
Ronaldo, who has scored 47 goals in 45 appearances this season, also faces the prospect of missing several games apart from the Champions League fixture, goal.com reported.
He had suffered the injury during the 3-0 win over Villarreal in the La Liga match last week.
