Sam Worthington says getting slugged is 'normal risk' for celeb photogs

Sam Worthington, who got sued for 10 million dollars for punching a New York paparazzo who was following him and his girlfriend Lara Bingle in Greenwich Village, has opined that paparazzi should expect punches.

The 38-year-old actor's lawyer Rachel Wade argued in recent filings in response to the Manhattan federal court suit that the shutterbug Sheng Li "knew the hazards thereof and the inherent risks incident thereto and had full knowledge of the ranges thereof" when he decided to follow the couple, the New York Post reported.

The attorney insisted that any injuries were caused by reason of such risks voluntarily undertaken by the plaintiff in his activities and such risks were assumed and accepted by him in performing and engaging in said activities.
