The self-styled godman Nityananda, facing criminal charges including rape, has been directed by the Supreme Court to undergo the medical test for potency.

The self- claimed godman is facing charges of rape, cheating, unnatural offences and criminal intimidation by some of his former devotees.

In 2010, he was first arrested in Himachal Pradesh but later released on bail the same year.
