SC to hear Teesta Seetalvad's plea in embezzlement case
The Supreme Court will today hear the Teesta Seetalvad case relating to the alleged embezzlement of funds from her NGO for rehabilitation of Gulbarg Society riot-affected people.
According to reports, the apex court is expected to hear the plea of Teesta pertaining to freezing her personal and other bank accounts in the matter.
Teesta has already told the Supreme Court that the accounts related to the Ford Foundation, personal accounts and other unrelated accounts have been frozen.
The
State of Gujarat is to respond in the matter on the freezing of Teesta's accounts.
