Sean 'Diddy' Combs has broken his silence and paid tribute to his ex-girlfriend Kim Porter, who was found dead last week.
Three days after the death of Porter, model and mother of three of his children, the rapper took to social media to make a public statement.
"For the last three days I've been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven't," he wrote alongside a throwback video of the pair.
"I don't know what I'm going to do without you baby. I miss you so much," he continued in the emotional Twitter tribute. "Today I'm going to pay tribute to you, I'm going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship."
Continuing, he wrote that "We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER S-!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love."
Porter, 47, was found dead in her Los Angeles home on Thursday. The case of her death remains under investigation.
Diddy a.k.a. Sean John Combs began dating Kim Porter back in the 1990s, and it is on 1998 they welcomed their first child- a son, Christian Casey Combs. For the second time, after a gap of nine years, they welcomed twin girls, D'Lila Star and Jessie James Combs.
In 1999, Porter and Combs split for the first time. In 2003, after dating Singer Jennifer Lopez for two years, Diddy reconciled with Porter. In 2007, the couple called it quits for the final time.
