A senior commander of the Somali Islamist group al-Shabaab who was allegedly involved in a 2013 attack against a Kenyan shopping mall has been killed in a US drone strike, according to intelligence sources.
According to News24, a senior intelligence officer said that western allies like the US help them fight terrorists in Somalia.
