Former leader of Congress in Gujarat, Shakti Singh Gohil, said here today that there would have been no confusion about the NSA level talks if Prime Minister Modi had been clearer over conditions related to the separatists in 2014.
He further added, "External affairs policy should be above politics."
Shakti singh accused the Central Government for arresting separatists and then releasing them soon after.
The Gujarat Congress also blamed the Central Government for the demonstration by students in the Film and Television Institute of India in Pune. He pointed out that the FTII students wanted the Government to appoint a qualified chairman rather than a "Modi bakht."
He added: "I am happy that the Ministry understood that they need to have a dialogue with the students".
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has sent an official team to talk to the students in Pune.
