Shannen Doherty has recently revealed in a lawsuit that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will have to undergo a mastectomy and chemotherapy.
Tabloid media revealed that the 44-year-old actress, who has filed the suit against her former business management firm, Tanner Mainstain, has claimed that her invasive breast cancer increased because she was not properly covered by her health insurance, reported Us magazine.
Blaming the firm, the actress further said that they failed to procure insurance premiums through Screen Actors Guild in a timely manner and terminated their relationship with the actress without informing her.
Meanwhile, Doherty's husband Kurt Iswarienko is also suing the accounting firm with the claims that they mismanaged the couple's assets.
