Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will undertake a two-day visit to Qatar to meet that country's leadership from Wednesday.

Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa al Thani and its Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani extended the invitation to Sharif.

During the two-day visit, a high-level delegation will accompany the Prime Minister where he will have meetings with the Emir and his counterpart, besides meeting cabinet ministers, reports The Express Tribune.

The main focus of the meetings will be to further enhance bilateral relations in various fields including defence and employment opportunities in Qatar.

The two countries would also hold wide-ranging delegation level talks, during which a number of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) will be signed in the field of health, media, education and the LNG sectors.
