Shia LaBeouf has opened up about the resemblance of his 12-minute short film 'HowardCantour.com', which he recently posted online, to a graphic comic.
The 27-year-old actor took to twitter saying that he was embarrassed on having failed to credit Daniel Clowes for his original graphic novella, 'Justin M. Damiano,' which served as his inspiration, Fox News reported.
The 'Fury' star claimed that copying isn't particularly creative work but instead being inspired by someone else's idea to produce something new and different is creative work.
He further added that in his excitement and naivete as an amateur filmmaker, he got lost in the creative process and neglected to follow proper accreditation.
