Shivraj Chouhan assures strict punishment after constable killed in MP

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday said strict action will be taken against those responsible for the death of a head constable in the Morena district of Madhya Pradesh.

"I was in the meeting since morning. Of what I have learnt an unfortunate incident has taken place. I will be able to comment only after I have full information on the matter. Strict action will be taken against the perpetrators," Chouhan told the media.

Head constable Dharmendra Singh Chouhan, died earlier in the day, after an alleged sand mafia's truck ran over him.

He was reportedly heading a police team to catch the accused of a robbery.
