Indian shooter Sanjeev Rajput on Tuesday secured his spot for this year's Rio Olympics after finishing fourth in the men's 50m three-position rifle category at the Asian qualifiers here at the Karni Singh Shooting Range.
With the qualification, Rajput has assured his country of her 12th Olympics quota in shooting.
Earlier, Omkar Singh, in the men's 10m air pistol, Arti Singh Rao and Sania Sheikh in women's skeet, made it to their respective finals of the event but failed to qualify for the Athletics' pinnacle event, which starts from August 5.
