Sibal takes a dig on Modi, criticises BJP's "Modi ki sarkar" slogan

Union Law Minister and senior Congress leader, Kapil Sibal, on Monday lashed out at BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and said the party's slogan of "Modi ki sarkar" was unconstitutional as India cannot be run by an individual.He also took a dig at prime ministerial candidate Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Narendra Modi, calling him inexperienced.

"In India's democracy, in the Constitution, has anyone ever thought that one individual can form the government? This is unconstitutional. An individual (Narendra Modi), who doesn't possess any prior experience of running a union government, hijacks a party, which calls itself a national party, and calls itself 'Modi's government' which is a matter of shame according to me," said Sibal.

Sibal thanked party chief Sonia Gandhi, vice-president of Congress party, Rahul Gandhi, while addressing mediapersons in the national capital for reposing faith in him to contest elections from Chandni Chowk constituency in New Delhi..

"Officially, I am coming as a Congress party candidate in front of you. I would like to thank Sonia Gandhi, vice-president of Congress party and all members of the party for showing faith in me due to which I am contesting elections from Chandni Chowk in Delhi," said Sibal.
