Senior journalist Shahid Siddiqui on Saturday poked fun at PPP co-chairman Bilawal Bhutto's comment that Kashmir belongs to Pakistan, and said that the latter should grow up and act maturely.
"None of the political parties in Pakistan speak about Kashmir these days because Kashmir issue doesn't fetch them any votes. He should grow up and act in a mature way," Siddiqui told ANI here.
"Bilawal Bhutto was never in Pakistan all these days, people of Pakistan don't know him and he doesn't know Pakistan. Now that he has come, he has thought that he must do something to get the attention of the people but he doesn't know that people of Pakistan are not interested in Kashmir anymore," he added.
Siddiqui further said that Kashmir belongs to India and Pakistan cannot take even an inch of it.
The Ministry of External Affairs had earlier today rejected Bilawal's statement by saying India's unity and integrity is non-negotiable.
"I don't need to comment on any comment which is so far away from reality, which takes us back into the past century. We are in the process of looking forward, and looking forward does not mean our borders will be changed," MEA official spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said.
"We have made it very clear that as far as we are concerned the unity and integrity of India is non-negotiable and that counts for anyone," he added.
Bilawal had earlier said that his Pakistan People's Party would get reclaim Kashmir from India.
