Senior lawyer and woman rights activists, Pramila Nesargi, said that there is something wrong with the whole human race of today.

Pramila Nesargi told ANI, "I do not know what is wrong with the human beings these days. It may be the food system, or surrounding, education, or it may be the person's helm in the offence is themselves responsible for all this. This is one such example."

"Look at it here, the Panchayat is ordering that fellow to go and rape instead of solving the problem, for which he is meant. If at all this person has committed the rape, it is only because of the say that has been done by the Panchayat chief. He must be held to be guilty and taken to custody immediately," she added.

She also told ANI, "All the properties belonging to the Panchayat chief must be seized and given to the family of the victim. The Panchayat chief must be strip off all the power, forthwith, all the facilities given to him should be taken off."

Reports have surfaced that a 10-year-old girl was allegedly raped in Bokaro's Swang Gulgulia Dhoura village by a neighbor who had earlier allegedly tried to molest her mother.

The gruesome incident was reportedly carried out at the behest of the village head, when the accused complained to him about being thrashed by the victim's father earlier.
