Sonika Chauhan death case: Hearing on accused's bail plea on July 26

The next hearing of actor Vikram Chatterjee's bail, the accused in the Sonika Chauhan death case, will take place on July 26.

Chatterjee's counsel stated in court that since the chargesheet was submitted on July 19, more time should be given.

On July 7, Vikarm was sent to police custody till July 10 by the Alipore Court. He was arrested from his Kasba residence late night the previous day.

Sonika passed away in a car crash in April 29.

Chatterjee has been carrying charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder on his head.
